Desolation for Minecraft 1.20.6

Desolation adds a rare and truly grim biome to the Minecraft world—the scorched forest. Everything here is immersed in shades of gray and black, as if the world has survived a catastrophe. Ash covers the ground, is used in crafting, and directly affects gameplay. The air is polluted, so surviving for long without a mask and protective goggles is impossible. Mobs look terrifying: gray silhouettes with bright orange accents that attack using ash and fire.

Some of them can drop rare hearts used for potion brewing. Mysterious creatures can also be encountered in this biome, pointing to hidden resources beneath layers of ash. The mod creates the atmosphere of a burned world where every step feels unsettling.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Fabric и Fabric API.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy Desolation mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
