Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.14 Download
The Minecraft PE 1.14 update adds a new creature to the game, along with blocks and items related to it, and fixes some bugs and flaws. The title screen has changed; it now displays an ordinary world with the main creatures of this update — bees. It is to these creatures that this update is mainly focused on.
New Mobs
You can find the bees in forests near beehives and nests. The number of bees in a hive does not exceed three. The bees are neutral mobs, but when a hive is under attack, they become aggressive. If you place a nest under a campfire or hold a flower in your hands, a bee will not be aggressive towards the player. A bee poisons its victim for 10 seconds, and if it is not killed, it dies about 60 seconds after the attack. When aggressive, bees have red eye color. When they are not attacked, they lead the life of ordinary bees; that is, they fly around their territory and pollinate various flowers. When a bee lands on flowers, their texture changes, and white particles appear. After pollination by a bee , a plant will accelerate its growth. During the rain, the bees are in their hive and sleep.
New Items
A honey bottle can be obtained in a hive, provided you manage to steal honey from bees. This drink is edible and restores 6 hunger points plus 2.4 saturation. One can obtain sugar from it. If you drink a honey bottle while being poisoned by bees, the negative effect disappears. There is another way to get a honey bottle — to create it using 4 glass bottles and one honey block. Another new item is the honeycomb, which can be obtained by using shears on a hive.
New Blocks
One of the new blocks added by update 1.14 is the bee nest, which can be found in forests near flower meadows or on flower plains. Inside it, one can find bees and honey. There are different amounts of honey in different nests , depending on how the bees finish their nectar extraction from various flowers. Honey is collected with bottles. If you break a nest with bees, these creatures become aggressive. Bees inside a nest will not be aggressive if you break the nest with a tool with the silk touch enchantment.
Another new block, which is used to keep one’s own bees, is the beehive, which can be crafted using any 6 planks and 3 honeycombs.
A honeyblock is created from 4 honey bottles, and the bottles used in the crafting are returned to the inventory after that. If you jump to a side of a honeyblock, the character will smoothly slide down. In turn, landing on this block softens the fall. All other mobs avoid honeyblocks.
The honeycomb block is a decorative one and is created from 4 honeycombs. After crafting the block, it is impossible to get the honeycombs back.
