Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.15 Download
The Minecraft PE 1.15 update brings new interesting animals and other various mobs to the game as well as fixes some bugs and shortcomings.
The menu screen has changed. It now shows an ordinary world with the main creatures which this update is focused on, that is, bees.
Some of the Changes
The ore appearance has become more high-quality.
3D models of dropped items have been added. This applies to all the objects; indeed, up to this point, only blocks featured a 3D model. Moreover, the models will now rotate.
If you grow a tree using bone meal on four seedlings located next to each other and forming a square, then besides appearing a large tree, the grass under it will change to a podzol.
The boat will now collapse on a cactus.
A new enchantment has appeared — the Curse of Binding. With it, one can enchant any object, be it a shovel or pickaxe. After that, it will be impossible to throw it out of the inventory. Items with this curse can be found in various dungeons.
New Mobs
You can find bees in forests near beehives and nests. A bee has 10 health points and is often afraid of water. There are lonely bees without a hive, which will wander around the world until they find a nest. The number of bees in a hive does not exceed three. The bees are neutral creatures, but only if their hive is not attacked. If you place a nest under a campfire or hold a flower in your hands, a bee will cease to be aggressive toward the player. During an attack, a bee poisons the player for 10 seconds and, if not killed, dies in about 60 seconds. An aggressive bee has red eyes. If bees are not attacked, they lead the life of ordinary bees; that is, they fly around their area and pollinate various flowers. When a bee lands on a flower, its texture changes, and white particles appear. After the pollination, a plant will grow faster . During the rain, the bees sleep in their hive.
New Items
A honey bottle can be obtained in a hive if you manage to steal honey from bees. This drink can be drunk, restoring 6 hunger points and 2.4 saturation. It is possible to get sugar from it. If you drink a honey bottle while fighting bees, the poisoning effect disappears. There is another way of getting a honey bottle at one’s disposal — to create it using 4 glass bottles and a honeyblock. Another useful item is the honeycomb, which can be obtained in a hive with the help of shears.
New Blocks
Among the new blocks added by update 1.15 is the bee nest, which can be found in forests near flower meadows or on flower plains. Bees live there, and there is honey in them. Different amounts of honey can be found in different nests . This depends on how precisely the bees complete their nectar extraction from various flowers. Honey is collected using bottles on a nest. If you break a bee nest with bees inside, then these creatures become aggressive. However, they will not be aggressive if you break the nest with a tool with the silk touch enchantment.
Another block is the beehive, which can be crafted using any 6 planks and 3 honeycombs. It is used in beekeeping.
A honeyblock is crafted from 4 honeybottles, and the bottles used in the process are returned to the inventory after the work is done. If you jump to a side of a honeyblock, the player character will smoothly slide down this block. Besides, landing on a honey block softens the fall. Other mobs avoid these blocks.
The honeycomb block is used for decoration and can be crafted from 4 honeycombs. However, it is impossible to get the honeycombs back after its creation.
