Minecraft 1.19.4 Java Edition Download
Minecraft is gearing up for a minor update 1.19.4 for Java Edition. The upcoming update will fix numerous bugs and errors, make technical changes, and add new commands. Currently, the exact release date is still unknown. Therefore, we can only wait for Mojang to release 1.19.4. However, there are points worth mentioning.

New
The update adds new data types, allowing you to display different types of objects. For example, these are rotation and transformation. They can work both in a variety of forms and as an array of data. The change is more about the developers of various add-ons for Minecraft.
New commands
The update adds several useful commands, for example:
- commandModificationBlockLimit – setting the maximum number of blocks that can be modified in one command (fill, clone, etc). The default is 32768 blocks;
- doVinesSpread – doVinesSpread – a command that determines whether the vines will spread to neighboring blocks. By default, the game is set to “true”, but the player can set it to “false”;
- damage – a new command for dealing damage to any entity, where you can set some additional options: entity, target, cause, amount, and others. The player can specify which entity to damage, indicate the amount of damage, select a specific location, and more;
- ride – allows or disallows entities to drive other entities.
General changes
- The update changes the shine of enchanted items, thus making it less noticeable and contrasting in the new version;
- The update changes the location of tooltips in the menu;
- The update adds navigation using the left arrow, up arrow, down arrow, and right arrow;
In the creative inventory, there are inscriptions for different types of paintings with the author’s signatures (you can choose which painting to get, but there is no preview in the slots);
- There is an accessibility menu for all users who launch Minecraft for the first time. The update turns on the narrator, allowing you to get more information about the game;
- There is a “Notification time” option, where the user can choose how long the notifications such as selected item names, subtitles, and crafting recipes are visible in the game launcher;
- There are new damage type tags: magic, on_fire, drown, and others;
- As soon as the player puts a shield in the left hand, you hear a special sound. However, you can disable it if necessary;
- You can swap the equipped items;
- The update changes the textures of mules, donkeys, zombie horses, and skeleton horses;
- When creating a map, the main screen is divided into 3 separate tabs: “Game”, where you can set the mode, difficulty level, and more; “World”, where you can select the map seed, structure generation, and starting chest; “Advanced” gives access to the rules of the world and allows you to choose textures;
- You can quickly enable and disable experimental options;
- The update adds new painting variants to “Functional blocks”;
- There are more “smithing templates”, with which you can change the appearance of the armor: insert diamond, emerald, and netherite inclusions. There are 12 templates in total.
