Previously, they were rare and appeared exclusively in particular biomes. But this mod will change the situation and allow you to find such deposits in almost any area. At the same time, the mod changes the rules for the appearance of fossils, their distance from each other, and their dependence on the territory (there is an increased chance of meeting them in a swamp, desert, etc.).

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Forge.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy More Fossils mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
