Transmog for Minecraft 1.20.2 is a universal mod that adds the ability to change the appearance of items. With this mod, the player can make an ax out of a sword. At the same time, all the characteristics will remain at the same level. The add-on will only change the texture. The list of items to change is quite long. The player can change armor, weapons, and tools. Therefore, you should create a new functional block. Crafting is simple since you will need no valuable resources. Place the block in the world and right-click to enter the block interface. That’s it! You can change the appearance of items!

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Fabric and Fabric API.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy the Transmog mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
