Snapshot Minecraft 24w44a Java Edition Download (Review)

24w44a is the first snapshot for the upcoming Minecraft 1.21.4 update, thanks to which you can already evaluate some mechanics and see what content will be added in the future. It fixes numerous bugs and adds new flowers and blocks.

The release date of the 24w44a snapshot is October 30, 2024.

New Content

Eyeblossoms and resin blocks are no longer in the testing stage and were moved from the Experiments category to the main content.

Eyeblossom

A new flower has been added to the game, which is generated exclusively in the pale garden biome. It changes its state depending on the time of day, namely opens during the day and closes at night. If you plant it in another dimension, it will retain its state.

You will now be able to cook the suspicious stew from the eyeblossom and also use it as a gray or orange dye. This flower can be bought from a wandering trader.

Resin Blocks

The creakings now drop resin clumps, which can be used for crafting resin blocks that can be placed on either side of other such blocks. They are mainly dropped when you destroy a creaking heart and can be used to create resin blocks that can be smelted into bricks. Resin clumps can also be found in the chests of a woodland mansion.

Changes

· The in-game panorama has been updated.

· When the player enters the new pale garden biome, the music fades.

· The creaking will inflict three damage points.

· You will be able to make a new creaking heart out of resin blocks.

· The resin block can be used to decorate in-game armor.

· Pillagers will now try to avoid creakings.

· The moss carpet can now be destroyed with a pickaxe only.

· If a creaking is too far away from the heart, a new mob can spawn instead.

· The suspicious stew made of eyeblossoms will impose the Nausea effect.

· If a bee interacts with eyeblossoms, it can get poisoned.

· Soul lanterns, ordinary lanterns, doors, pressure plates, and brewing stands are now dropped if the player hits them with their hand.

· The ender chest collapses and drops obsidian if you break it with an improper tool.

· If you feed a bee with a wither rose, it will get the Wither effect and will not be able to reproduce.

· All the content of the Winter Drop is no longer experimental.

Bug Fixes

· The villager trading GUI now closes if the NPC has moved away from you.

· Dark oaks correctly generate foliage on their trunks.

Installation

Step 1. Open TLauncher and go to the Settings tab by clicking the gear icon in the lower right corner.

Step 2. Select the Display Snapshots checkbox, and do not forget to save the changes by clicking the appropriate button at the bottom.

Step 3. On the main screen of TLauncher, open the version selection tab, select the desired snapshot, and click 'Install' or 'Launch the Game' if the snapshot is already installed.
