Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.8 Download
Minecraft Pocket Edition v1.8 is the new version of the Pocket Edition that has already won my heart, now it's time to tell you what's new here.
The new update fixes 57 bugs and errors, which is very cool! But only some of them are notable:
1. Tamed wolves tilt their heads now if the player is holding meat.
2. The player who sits in the boat can control the camera, and not just look forward.
3. The Pocket Edition logo was removed and replaced by the Bedrock Edition logo.
When generating a new world, you will notice a new parameter in which you can type a number, namely Random Tick Speed, which will affect the speed of the world, i.e. if you put a large number, the wheat seeds will germinate instantly, and the night will be replaced by day similarly.
Now, Phantoms are afraid of Cats, it seems that we found a way to get rid of these vile creatures! The size of Tropical Fish was increased, which allows you to consider them in more detail and just admire them. Added a new block – Scaffolding, which is made of dried bamboo that gives it elasticity and some rigidity. Like usual Scaffolding, it is used to climb some heights. Thus, by entering a Scaffolding and jumping you will find yourself on the second level. Now you can become a real builder!
Stray Cats will now spawn in the villages, so it is unnecessary to search for them in the jungle, it is enough to find the village and, if you are lucky enough, to get your future pet. The new item that awaits us is a Bamboo! Yes, it is Bamboo that you can now use in crafting or find in various jungles, as well as can use to feed the Pandas. Bamboo is present in 1.8.0.8 version, but spawns nowhere and can be obtained only in the creative mode.
Oops, seems I forgot to tell something! Pandas are new mobs that feed on bamboo, they can be tamed and you can find such cute creatures in the jungle. There are three types of pandas: evil – with red eyes, attacks the player as soon as sees him or her; healthy – usual Panda, not aggressive; sick – a Panda that is ill and moves slowly
If you feed a Panda bamboo and then remove it from your hand, the Panda will sit down and start showing you its paws with some chance.
