Pillagers for Minecraft 1.12.2

Sometimes villagers don’t behave too wisely — drowning, falling from heights, or dying during raids, leaving nothing useful behind. Pillagers mod fixes this unfairness by adding a chance for trading items to drop after villagers’ deaths. Now, when they die, there’s a possibility to obtain valuable resources, especially if the death occurred during a raid.

The base chance is one in three, but it can be increased with the Looting enchantment. The mod adds a touch of cynicism to the familiar mechanics — even the death of peaceful villagers can now bring profit, turning villages into a source of rare and useful items.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Forge.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy Pillagers mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
