Special Mobs for Minecraft 1.16.5

Familiar monsters in Minecraft may seem too simple, but this mod destroys the illusion of safety. With Special Mobs, almost every enemy you encounter has its own version: creepers explode with fire, jump, or inflict effects; skeletons shoot special arrows; zombies move faster or turn out to be tougher than they seem.

Sometimes amusing but dangerous combinations also appear — “Jockeys,” where one mob has mounted another. Item drops were also changed: small monsters now leave more loot, and endermen drop the items they were holding. The mod makes the game harder, turning every resource-gathering trip into something risky and interesting.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Forge.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy Special Mobs mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
