Outdoor cooking receives its own equipment and set of dishes in Spit Roasted Sizzles. The menu includes doner kebabs, dishes made from durum wheat, French fries, Dutch kapsalon with meat and cheese, sweet sutlac, and other options. Cooking takes place using special grills, deep fryers, and themed kitchen blocks, so the recipes are not limited to a regular furnace.
Forest walks with Mooseman turn into a hunt in which the player becomes the prey. The tall antlered monster rarely appears in forests and taigas, but after an encounter it can pursue its target over a huge distance. It hears movement, senses the player through walls, opens doors, and chooses routes around cliffs and buildings.
Sylvan Timber Heart expands TerraFirmaCraft with new forests, tree species, and building materials. Swampy, alpine, and regular forest areas with their own flora appear in the world, while the number of available wood shades increases by more than a dozen.

Dinosaurs can be tamed, used in combat, ridden, or used to collect items, while wild individuals gather into herds and feed together.
The regular health bar receives a second layer with completely different rules. Blue Hearts adds up to ten blue hearts that cannot be restored with food — they return only after sleeping in a bed. Armor also does not reduce damage dealt to this bar, so the additional health does not turn into a regular reserve of durability.
Stone mining with Cobblestoney begins to work according to the same logic as regular stone in the vanilla game. Granite, andesite, diorite, calcite, and tuff turn into their own cobbled versions when broken, which can then be smelted back into smooth material in a furnace or over a campfire.
Sylvan Soil Strata once again focuses on TerraFirmaCraft forests, but places emphasis on the variety of species and seasonal coloration. Dozens of tree species appear in regular, swampy, and alpine areas, while fourteen new wood sets in colors close to the classic Minecraft palette become available for building.
Starting a new world with Spawnside Hearth begins not on an empty plot, but beside a ready-made shelter. A small wooden house is automatically built near the spawn point and adjusts to the height and shape of the terrain. One of several variants is selected randomly, so the base does not repeat in exactly the same way in every world.
Soft Step Carpentry brings wool stairs and slabs to older versions of Minecraft where such shapes for this material do not yet exist. All sixteen standard colors are available, so wool can be used not only as a full block or carpet, but also for stair-shaped and half-block structures.
