Prone Velocity for Minecraft 1.20.1

Gunfights with weapons from Timeless and Classics Zero become more dynamic thanks to a new maneuver. Prone Velocity adds movement resembling a tactical dive followed by sliding or falling into a prone position. While sprinting, the character can suddenly dive forward, cross a small open area, and quickly take cover behind a low obstacle.

This mechanic can be useful when storming rooms, escaping the line of fire, or trying to quickly change position during PvP. After the maneuver, the player ends up lying prone and can therefore use low blocks as full cover.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Forge.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy Prone Velocity mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
