Librarian’s Balance for Minecraft 1.21.8

In vanilla Minecraft, trading with librarians makes it too easy to get the rarest enchantments, breaking survival balance. Librarian’s Balance mod introduces changes that make the process more thoughtful and gradual. Villagers no longer hand out powerful enchantments like Protection IV or Mending right away — to obtain them, players must build up trading relations, invest more resources, and spend time.

This makes enchanted items rare, and every book feels like a valuable reward for effort. Players now need to choose a strategy: which enchantments to prioritize, which resources to use, and what to give up.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Fabric и Fabric API.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy Librarian’s Balance mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
