Distracting Trims for Minecraft 26.1.2

In the Nether, piglins normally require the player to wear at least one piece of golden armor. Otherwise, they immediately become hostile. Distracting Trims transfers this mechanic to armor trims and makes it more flexible. Now a gold trim on any armor set works the same way as full golden armor. The player can keep the protection of their main equipment while avoiding aggression from piglins.

The mod makes good use of the existing smithing table mechanic: trims stop being just decoration and gain practical value. At the same time, the rule does not feel like an overly easy exploit — gold still has to be present on the armor, only now in the form of a pattern.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Fabric и Fabric API.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy Distracting Trims mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
