Lenient Creepers for Minecraft 26.1.2

A creeper explosion is dangerous not only because of damage and a crater in the ground, but also because of the loss of items that were already lying nearby. Lenient Creepers changes this rule: items on the ground do not disappear from an explosion if the behavior is enabled in the settings. 

The mod keeps the punishment for carelessness — blocks, health, and the creeper attack itself do not go anywhere — but removes the most unpleasant moment when dropped resources vanish because of a second explosion. There is a parameter connecting the mechanic to the mobGriefing rule: by default, item preservation works when mob destruction is disabled. The result is a softer version of survival, where a mistake still costs a lot, but does not erase loot without a chance to recover it.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Fabric и Fabric API.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy Lenient Creepers mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
