Respawning Animals for Minecraft 26.1.2
![]()
Respawning Animals reworks one of Minecraft’s most unnoticeable but important mechanics — the spawning of passive animals. In the standard game, many animals are generated together with the world and can remain in place almost forever, which makes the ecosystem look static: if a player clears an area, it often stays empty for a long time. This mod makes animals part of a more living cycle.

They can disappear and appear again naturally, like hostile mobs, making forests, plains, and other biomes feel more populated even after a long time of playing. It does not affect important creatures: tamed pets, bred animals, mobs with a name tag, and riding animals are preserved.

How to install the modification:
First step: download and install NeoForge.
Second step: download the mod file.
Third step: copy Respawning Animals mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
