Vanilla Degus adds cute and unusual companions to the game — degus, small daytime rodents that are well suited for the role of a living decoration for a base. Their main advantage is that they feel not simply like decorative creatures, but like a useful part of the environment. Wild degus can eat grass near your house, helping to keep the area in a neater state, and they are tamed with grass and dry bushes.

The modification fits perfectly into a calm playstyle where coziness, base decoration, and the feeling of a living world are important. Since degus are active during the day, their presence is noticeable exactly at the time when the player is most often doing household tasks and building.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Fabric и Fabric API.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy Vanilla Degus mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
