Village Masquerade for Minecraft 26.1.2

In villages, it is usually clear where a peaceful villager is and where an enemy is, so trading zones quickly become a safe routine. Village Masquerade breaks this confidence: hostile mobs can hide under the appearance of villagers and attack at an unexpected moment. This mechanic changes behavior in settlements.

Now you cannot thoughtlessly run up to every character or calmly stand among a crowd while checking traders. The village turns into a place where a familiar appearance does not always mean safety. The mod adds more anxiety to survival, raids, and trading halls, while still remaining lightweight and not requiring complex dependencies. Its main strength is not in new items, but in distrust toward familiar scenes.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Fabric и Fabric API.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy Village Masquerade mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
