Better Trident Return for Minecraft 26.2

A trident with Loyalty returns to the player, but in vanilla logic it does not always return to the slot it was thrown from. Better Trident Return fixes this behavior. If the trident was launched from a specific slot, when returning it tries to take the same slot. Only if the place is already occupied does the item go to the first available one.

The mod solves a small but frequent problem with the order on the hotbar. After throwing it, you do not have to search for the trident among food, blocks, or tools, especially in combat near water or during fights with several enemies. The Loyalty mechanic remains the same: the trident returns by itself, but now it does so more neatly.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Fabric и Fabric API.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy Better Trident Return mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
