Elytra Slot for Minecraft 26.2

Elytra Slot removes the constant choice between protection and flight. In the usual game, elytra occupy the chestplate slot, so before combat you have to put armor back on, and before a jump you have to replace it with wings again. The mod adds a separate slot for elytra next to armor.

The chestplate stays on the character, protection does not disappear, and the wings work during a fall from a height the same way as before. Elytra durability is still spent, and they still need to be repaired, but the unnecessary moving of items in the inventory disappears. This changes the late game: flights between bases, scouting terrain, battles, and building at height become less broken up.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Fabric и Fabric API.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy Elytra Slot mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
