How to download and play Minecraft 1.14 (Snapshots)
At the time of writing, a number of snapshots for version 1.14 have already been released, so you can try out the new features right now. In this version, the developers are focusing heavily on villages and their inhabitants; the update is called “Village & Pillage”.
You can look forward to a host of new blocks: sweet berry bushes, scaffolding, bamboo, a wither rose, a loom, a barrel, a stonecutter, a lectern, a bell and much more.
In addition, Minecraft 1.14 will feature new mobs: hostile ones – the pillager and the ravager; and neutral ones – pandas. You can read more about Minecraft 1.14 in our separate article.
Install Minecraft 1.14 snapshots:
To install the snapshots, click on the gear icon in the launcher –> “Advanced” or “Settings”:
Tick the box next to “Show snapshots”:
Select the latest snapshot version from the list and install it:
