Web Design Competition [2018]

To develop the project, we’re always on the lookout for new ideas and inspired people; this time, we’re inviting our community to help revamp the look of our VK community. To this end, we’re launching a web design competition with cash prizes! Anyone can take part!

Prizes

A total of three winners will be selected, and the prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st place – 1,500 roubles + TLauncher Premium (lifetime subscription);

2nd place – 1,000 roubles + TLauncher Premium (3 months);

3rd place – 500 roubles + TLauncher Premium (1 month).

Entry requirements

You must design a cover image for the VK community.

- Cover image requirements: the dimensions must be 1590×400 px, but please bear in mind that in the mobile version it will be cropped to 1196×400 px, so all important information and text must be positioned closer to the centre of the cover to avoid being cropped.

What should be illustrated: We encourage you to use your imagination and include whatever you think the TLauncher community needs. However, you must draw four versions, one for each season (winter, spring, summer and autumn) – that is, draw one version and use it as a basis to create the others depending on the season.

We recommend taking a look at a useful guide to designing VK communities; points 1–4 should be of particular interest to you.

Where to submit your work

Please send your work to this email address: [email protected], attaching a .psd file plus the final images of all versions exported as .png (in the required dimensions). Please include your VK page (if you have one).

Competition terms and deadlines

Entries will be accepted up to and including 20 December, and the results will be announced on 22 December.

There is no limit to the number of entries per person, which may ultimately increase your chances of winning.
