Snapshot Minecraft 25w05a Java Edition Download (Review)

At the end of January 2025, the fourth snapshot 25w05a for Minecraft 1.21.5 was released, introducing new elements and numerous changes, such as firefly bushes, regular bushes, more cow variants in different biomes, and much more!

Innovations

Firefly Bushes. Firefly bushes now generate near rivers and in swamps. When night falls, they emit small particles that slightly illuminate the area. They produce a light level of 2. Players can break these bushes with their hands or any tool.

Regular Bushes. Additional bushes now generate in plains, forests, and birch groves. They come in several shades and can be used in a composter for recycling. If a player uses bone meal on one, another bush will grow nearby.

New Cow Textures. Mojang has added more cow texture variations in the game: temperate, snowy, and tropical. Each of them spawns in specific biomes.

Changes

· Beacon beams will now reach a height of 2048 blocks instead of the default 1024. Additionally, the beam's thickness increases as the player moves away from the beacon, making its location easier to see;

· If a player wearing leather boots falls into powder snow from a height of 2.5 blocks or more, they will begin to sink;

· New ambient sounds have been added for deserts and barren lands;

· 22 bugs have been fixed.

Installation

Step 1. Open TLauncher and go to the Settings tab by clicking the gear icon in the lower right corner.

Step 2. Select the Display Snapshots checkbox, and do not forget to save the changes by clicking the appropriate button at the bottom.

Step 3. On the main screen of TLauncher, open the version selection tab, select the desired snapshot, and click 'Install' or 'Launch the Game' if the snapshot is already installed.
