Pre-release builds sometimes introduce not only changes but also fresh new features. Snapshot 25w09a brings several exciting additions, along with some modifications to the game world.

Innovations

Let's take a look at the new features introduced in this snapshot:

· Fallen trees can now be found in the world, aligning with Bedrock Edition;

· Fallen trees are considered a new decorative element;

· The following tree types can appear as fallen trees: spruce, oak, jungle trees, and birch;

· Fallen birch trees can vary in length;

· Fallen trees can be further enhanced with decorative elements like vines or mushrooms;

· Fallen trees can appear in almost every biome, except for the following: grove, meadow, river, and bamboo jungle;

· In the Flower Forest biome, fallen trees can spawn, but oak trees will not be among them.

Changes

In addition to the new content, this snapshot includes the following changes:

· It is now possible to replace leaf litter with other blocks;

· Firefly bushes can now spawn near water in mangrove swamps, and rarely in barren lands.

Bug Fixes

Bug fixes are an essential part of every snapshot, and here are the issues addressed in this one:

· MC-168262 - It is now impossible to place dead bushes on farmland;

· MC-279278 - A double consecutive hit no longer causes the player to start sprinting;

· MC-279942 - The beacon beam is now visible above the fog, even beyond the render distance;

· MC-279947 - Adjustments have been made to the appearance of the cow's head;

· MC-280121 - Fixed an issue allowing fallen leaves to be placed on fences and walls.

Installation

Step 1. Open TLauncher and go to the Settings tab by clicking the gear icon in the lower right corner.

Step 2. Select the Display Snapshots checkbox, and do not forget to save the changes by clicking the appropriate button at the bottom.

Step 3. On the main screen of TLauncher, open the version selection tab, select the desired snapshot, and click 'Install' or 'Launch the Game' if the snapshot is already installed.
