Snapshot Minecraft 25w20a Java Edition Download (Review)

Snapshot 25w20a for Minecraft 1.20.6 was released on May 13, 2025. It finally added saddle crafting, new music, a record, and fixed numerous bugs.

Innovations

A new record "Tears" (author: Amos Roddy) was added. It can be obtained from a ghast if the player reflects the mob's attack and kills it with the same fireball. In Russian, the record is called "Слезы" and is a new loot that can be obtained from the ghast in addition to ghast tears.

The same author (Amos Roddy) added 5 new tracks to Minecraft, which you can hear while in lush caves, deserts, and cherry groves. Some tracks will also play in the game's main menu!

Changes

· In various dungeons (treasuries, ancient cities, strongholds, desert and jungle temples) you can find leather instead of saddles — from 1 to 5 pieces;

· Shears have a new use: they can be used to remove saddles, armor, harnesses, and carpets from various mobs;

· The saddle mechanic has changed. Now it can be removed from various mobs and even crafted! To do this, you need 3 pieces of leather and 1 iron ingot;

· In the game settings, you can control how often music plays and enable notifications with track titles to know what song is currently playing;

· For Realms, the connection region is now displayed in the main menu;

· The panorama in the main menu was replaced;

· 15 bugs were fixed.

Installation

Step 1. Open TLauncher and go to the Settings tab by clicking the gear icon in the lower right corner.

Step 2. Select the Display Snapshots checkbox, and do not forget to save the changes by clicking the appropriate button at the bottom.

Step 3. On the main screen of TLauncher, open the version selection tab, select the desired snapshot, and click 'Install' or 'Launch the Game' if the snapshot is already installed.
