Trial chambers leave the underground and turn into a vertical adventure with the Towers of Chambers mod. Instead of a normal complex, a huge multi-story tower is generated, which must gradually be cleared from bottom to top. Each floor has its own layout, hazards, and set of enemies.
Better Melon turns melons into a complete system of food, decoration, and unusual items. A placed block can gradually be eaten one quarter at a time, while individual slices are consumed faster than regular food. To prevent decorative builds from being eaten by accident, melon blocks can be coated with wax.
Living flocks of ducks appear in the world after installing Ducky Quack Pack. The birds form chains in which several individuals follow a leader marked by a small glowing crown of particles. The flocks periodically migrate and fly to new locations. If the leader is fed seeds, it becomes tamed, and the whole group begins to follow the player along with it.
Biomes of Overworld adds 23 new biomes, eight creatures, four ores, and a large amount of additional equipment. Volcanoes, maple forests, prehistoric regions, frozen shores, and the North Pole appear in the Overworld. New animals include ferrets, dodo birds, and wandering souls.
Abandoned cities, military bases, and wastelands are easier to decorate with Zcraft Decoration. The mod adds rusty barrels, old tires, military crates, broken household appliances, and industrial trash. All items are deliberately made to look worn and abandoned, so an ordinary street quickly turns into a post-apocalyptic district.
Canyons and Cliffs and Biomes radically increases the scale of world generation. The lower limit drops to Y -256, while the upper limit rises to Y 1664, so mountain ranges become much taller than usual. Caves and canyons appear less often, but the systems themselves are enormous and feel more like separate natural formations.
Each type of tree gets its own style of falling debris thanks to Falling Leaves Plus. Oaks drop acorns, spruces drop cones, while other trees receive unique leaves, twigs, and small particles. During rain and thunderstorms, the wind becomes stronger, so the falling debris becomes much more active and travels farther.
Particular Reforged fills the world with small visual effects that make the environment feel much more alive. Jumping into water creates a volumetric splash depending on the height of the fall, while waterfalls form additional cascades and ripples. In warm biomes, fireflies appear at sunset, leaves fall from trees, and dust slowly floats in deep caves.
Redstone Additions offers more complex automation without huge constructions. The mod adds logic gates, timers, random signal generators, pulse extenders and shorteners, as well as mechanisms for automatically placing and breaking blocks.
Wands of Combat adds five magical wands with different combat roles, passive bonuses, and active abilities. The magnetic variant attracts items, experience, and creatures, while the ice wand slows targets and, after a series of hits, creates a protective shield with ice spikes.
