Spider Overhaul adds six types of spiders tied to specific biomes. In birch forests, they hide inside fallen trunks, in swamps they disguise themselves as lily pads and swim quickly, while in jungles they attack with poison. Desert spiders launch sharp spikes, icy ones slow their prey with a freezing toxin, and cave spiders carry gems on their backs and shoot webs.
Better End completely reworks the End, turning empty islands into a large dimension with its own ecosystems. More than twenty biomes appear here, with different vegetation, terrain, caves, and local resources. Nine types of wood, seven varieties of stone, and many decorative blocks are available for building.
No Baby Zombies removes baby zombies and husks from the world. These small enemies no longer spawn naturally and cannot be summoned with spawn eggs. Regular zombies remain unchanged: they keep their previous characteristics, spawn locations, and drops.
Classic Farlands brings the famous Far Lands back to modern versions of Minecraft. Broken terrain generation begins appearing near coordinate 12,550,821 on the X or Z axis, creating enormous walls, gaps, and chaotic monoliths. Reaching them through ordinary travel is extremely difficult, so the journey itself becomes a separate challenge.
Croptopia significantly expands farming and food preparation. The world gains 58 ground crops and 26 plants that grow on trees or bushes. Seeds can be found by breaking tall grass in plains, forests, swamps, savannas, and taigas, while fruit trees appear in suitable natural areas.
A large mob farm no longer requires dark rooms, water streams, and complex mechanisms. Tiny Mob Farm Remastered places the entire production process into a single block. First, the required creature is captured with a lasso, after which it is placed inside the farm.
Tamed wolves and cats often die during journeys because the standard game provides almost no way to increase their protection. Pet Armor solves this problem by adding separate armor sets for pets. The armor is crafted from familiar materials, including leather, iron, and diamonds, so it fits naturally into normal progression.
In large modpacks, advancement tabs quickly stop fitting on the standard screen. Paginated Advancements enlarges the window, distributes sections across separate pages, and prevents them from overlapping each other. Necessary tabs can be pinned to make it easier to return to current tasks and track progress.
Regular blocks, tools, and materials become ammunition after crafting a slingshot from Simply Slingshot. It first takes an item from the offhand, then searches the hotbar for a suitable projectile. Pickaxes can break blocks from a distance, blaze rods set the impact point on fire, and building materials with a special enchantment are placed directly into the world.
Changing equipment before a fight, flight, or trip into a mine takes only one action with Armor Quick Swap. Right-clicking an armor item in the inventory immediately equips it, while the removed piece of equipment moves into the slot that has just been freed. To replace a full set, you can approach an armor stand, crouch, and interact with it.
