Snapshot Minecraft 25w37a Java Edition Download (Review)

The developers released snapshot 25w37a for Minecraft 1.21.9, which became available on September 9, 2025. It mainly fixes certain mob-related aspects, server parameters, and numerous bugs.

Innovations

A new identifier spawnerBlocksEnabled has been added to the list of rules, allowing control over entity spawning in the game for spawners. If it is disabled, mobs will not be able to spawn.

Changes

· The hitbox of the Copper Golem has been changed again, and it now measures 0.49 blocks in width, allowing it to move freely through any spaces, including opening doors;

· New properties have been added to the server settings;

· The OpenGL version has been updated to 3.3;

· The mechanic for switching from “Spectator Mode” to “Creative Mode” while flying has been changed. You will also be able to continue flying without falling to the ground;

· Specific rules for API usage have been added to provide an additional layer of protection for servers;

· A search option has been added to the resource pack management menu, which is very convenient when you have a large number of packs.

Fixed Bugs

In this snapshot, 41 bugs were fixed, most of which were identified in the pre-release versions of Minecraft 1.21.9.

Installation

Step 1. Open TLauncher and go to the Settings tab by clicking the gear icon in the lower right corner.

Step 2. Select the Display Snapshots checkbox, and do not forget to save the changes by clicking the appropriate button at the bottom.

Step 3. On the main screen of TLauncher, open the version selection tab, select the desired snapshot, and click 'Install' or 'Launch the Game' if the snapshot is already installed.
